Journiq - Terms of Use

Important: By downloading, installing, or using the Journiq mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. App Overview

Journiq is a mobile application designed to help users track their travel adventures, manage trip budgets, and organize travel memories. The app offers both free and premium subscription features to create beautiful journey views and detailed expense reports.

2. Subscription Services

2.1 Available Subscriptions

Journiq Premium offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

Weekly Subscription: $1.99 per week
Yearly Subscription: $19.99 per year (Best Value!)

Note: Prices may vary by location and are subject to change. Current pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase.

2.2 Subscription Features

Journiq Premium includes:

Unlimited trip entries and location pinning
Advanced budget analytics and charts
Export options (PDF reports and CSV data)
Unlimited photo attachments per location
Cloud sync across multiple devices
Group trip features and collaboration
Custom map styles and themes
Priority customer support
Ad-free experience

2.3 Auto-Renewal Terms

Important Subscription Information:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Weekly subscriptions renew every 7 days
Yearly subscriptions renew every 365 days
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your device's Account Settings after purchase

3. Payment and Billing

3.1 Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Payment will be charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase.

3.2 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal, and you will be notified of any price changes in advance.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

For iOS users:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top
Tap "Subscriptions"
Find Journiq and tap it
Tap "Cancel Subscription"

For Android users:

Open the Google Play Store app
Tap Menu → Subscriptions
Find Journiq and tap it
Tap "Cancel Subscription"

4.2 Cancellation Terms

You can cancel your subscription at any time
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the paid period
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
You must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refund requests must be made directly through your device's app store:

iOS: Submit refund requests through Apple's Report a Problem website
Android: Request refunds through Google Play Store customer service

Journiq does not control app store refund policies and cannot guarantee refund approval.

6. Free Trial (If Applicable)

If a free trial is offered, you will be charged the full subscription price when the trial period ends unless you cancel before the trial expires. Free trials are limited to one per user.

7. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate account information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Use the app in accordance with these terms
Not share your premium account access with others
Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
Use location and sharing features responsibly
Not upload inappropriate or harmful content to shared trips
Respect privacy when tagging others in trips

8. Content and Location Disclaimer

Important Notice: Journiq uses GPS and map data to track your trips. While we strive for accuracy, map data and GPS location services are subject to technical limitations and may not always be perfectly precise. Users should not rely solely on the app for critical navigation.

9. Financial Data Disclaimer

Budget tracking features are for informational purposes only
Currency conversion rates may fluctuate and are estimates
We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on app data
Users are responsible for verifying their own expense records

10. Intellectual Property

Users retain rights to their original input data, photos, and trip logs. The app interface, design, and code are owned by Journiq. Users grant Journiq a license to display their content within the app as needed for functionality (e.g., displaying photos on a map).

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information, including location data and trip details.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Journiq at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or any other reason.

13. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

Journiq and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or trip records.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
